Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUDOVIC (VIC) GUILLAUME PHILIPPOT December 30, 1939 - January 5, 2013 Vic passed away peacefully on January 5, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne (nee Stankiw) and beloved daughter Suzanne, his sister Marie and brother-in-law Robert Gousseau, the loving Stakiw family, nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Adele and Ludovic, and brothers Frank and Denis. He was born at home in St. Claude, MB. He worked hard to achieve a career in finance with a degree in Chartered Accountancy. Vic moved to Calgary in the late 1960s, was an entrepreneurial businessman with partnerships in real estate and the petroleum industry. Vic lived life fully, worked in Houston and Algeria, travelled extensively and made many good friendships. The Sisters and staff of Father Lacombe Care Centre cared so dearly for Vic. Divine liturgy took place at St. Stephen's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Calgary on January 9, 2013. He was laid to rest at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens, in Calgary.
